Christmas is without a doubt one of my favourite times of the year, and this year has been no exception.
I love that warm, fuzzy feeling you get for a few days as the frenetic pace of life slows down, enabling us all to spend some quality time in the company of those we love (and of course indulge in copious quantities of food, alcohol and tv).
The festive season passes quickly and all too soon we are entering once again back into the familiar world of work and normal daily routine. As I lovingly pack away the last of the Christmas decorations for another year, I can’t help feeling excited at the prospect of the new year ahead and the promise of things to come.
I delight in the chance to embrace new beginnings and to hopefully create new opportunities. This excitement I feel at this time of the year is in no small part due to the fact that I can indulge my enthusiasm for list making. Of course to write lists you need a quality notebook (or three), and if Santa hasn’t obliged then I can treat myself to that special little gift.
I have a love of stationery which probably goes back to my childhood, but these days it’s much more sophisticated and indulgent.
